| Last Chance to Nominate Yourself or a Colleague to the 2013-14 MPI-CAC Board of Directors |
Make a committment to yourself and your Chicago Chapter. Nominate yourself or a colleague for the 2013-2014 Board of Directors! Our strong and vibrant MPI chapter relies upon the dedication and outstanding service of our volunteers to allow us to continuously address the changing needs of our members. During this economic recovery, you have a great opportunity to build your professional skill set, expand your network and contribute to the long-term success of the Chicago meeting industry. The Nominating Committee is seeking candidates to serve as officers and directors on the 2013-2014 Board of Directors for our chapter, taking office on July 1, 2013.

| Attend TechCon Chicago 2013 for FREE |
Each year, the MPI Chicago Area Chapter offers a variety of grants to help members in need, but you'll need to act fast if you'd like to take advantage of them. MPI-CAC members in good standing who are interested in attending TechCon Chicago 2013 on Febuary 19 can apply for one of two professional education grants which cover the full-day registration fee to that conference (a $145 value). Professional Education Grant applications to attend TechCon are due January 15, 2013. In addition, this winter the chapter is giving away three membership grants for new or renewing members, which covers their membership dues. Membership Grant applications are due February 15, 2013.

| Resolve to Say Thank You in 2013 by Nominating a Colleague or Peer for a Chapter Award |
Each year, we have the opportunity to nominate our peers for one of nine prestigious chapter awards, including the Young Professional Achievement Award, new for 2013. The awards are then presented at the Annual Awards Recognition Gala to be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile. Don’t miss the opportunity to honor those people who go above and beyond each day. Please note the deadline to nominate a peer for an award is January 25, 2013.
