Selekman, MSW, LCSW, CRADC to present his workshop Working with Violent, Suicidal, and Self-Destructive Adolescents: A Collaborative Strengths-Based Family Therapy Approach. This an intermediate/advance level workshop that presents a collaborative strengths-based family therapy approach that combines the best elements of empirically supported individual and family therapy models with clinical evidence-based practice wisdom about what works with adolescents presenting with severe behavioral and emotional difficulties. Are you looking to expand your knowledge in treating adults with eating disorders? Check out CBT Eating Disorders: Core Components for Adults on April 27, 2018 presented by Jamie C. Farquhar, PhD., CPsych. Participants of this workshop will learn the principle protocol of CBT for eating disorders, and how to identify and differentiate the clinical presentation of specific diagnoses. Core psychopathology will be discussed along with CBT theory. Learn step-by-step, how to engage clients in self-monitoring, establish regular eating habits, interrupt behavioural eating disorder symptoms, and address maintaining mechanisms. Fundamentals of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (FPP)
