As we draw towards the end of yet another extraordinary year, I want to thank you for your ongoing interest in, and support of, Griffith University. We have been very lucky in Queensland to be spared the worst of the health crisis and impact of continued lockdowns, but our thoughts have been with our extended Griffith community in parts of the world where the cost has been much higher.

Harry Rodgers has a unique opportunity to shape the future of disability policy and services with a new role at the Disability Royal Commission, where he will work with vulnerable members of society to help share their lived experiences. Experiencing a disability himself, Harry says the opportunities for people like him are limited and he sees much potential for change.
