taken a foundational training
in DBT will learn
- DBT-based case formulation
- Case-conceptualization from a DBT perspective
- The controlling variables of problematic behaviour
- Recognize and address secondary targets
- Avoid becoming polarized with clients
- Coaching clients in crisis
- Setting personal limits
- Strategies to avoid personal burnout
- Enhanced skills for working with high-risk, multi-disordered clients
