Enterprise Florida will be leading an Export Trade Mission to Kenya and Tanzania in November 2018. In anticipation of this event, we invite you to join us for a free webinar to learn about Business Opportunities in Eastern Africa. Economic growth in East Africa was a robust 5.9 percent in 2017 and is forecast to continue in 2018 and 2019. Florida companies’ world-class goods and services have a significant competitive advantage and are well-suited for the types of industries being pursued by businesses in East Africa.

Site Visit to the Port of Manzanillo

The U.S. Commercial Service Mexico is organizing a Site Visit to the Port of Manzanillo. This one-day visit is designed for U.S. companies interested in identifying opportunities to sell products or services to the different port concessionaires, tour the port, and meet to port officials and private port operators in the Port of Manzanillo. Participants will need to arrive to Manzanillo on July 11, to be ready for the visit on the 12. The group will be led by Commercial Officer Paul Oliva, Commercial Specialist for Ports Alicia Herrera, and Commercial Specialist for Infrastructure Adrian Orta.

Farnborough International Airshow 2018

Export Trade Mission to Kenya and Tanzania
November 2 - 9, 2018 | Nairobi, Kenya and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Enterprise Florida will lead a delegation of Florida manufacturers and services providers to further trade relations between Florida and two of the largest economies in the East Africa Community: Kenya and Tanzania. Enterprise Florida is collaborating with the U.S. Commercial Service (USCS) in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam to coordinate the mission and facilitate business to business meetings for the Florida participants. The Gold Key Service fee is $2,400 per company, however, small and medium-sized Florida companies may qualify for a Gold Key Grant from Enterprise Florida which will offset 100% of this fee.

Medica 2018

MEDICA is the premiere global Life Sciences/Medical trade show. Many of Florida’s top medical companies will promote their goods and services from the Florida Pavilion for the 24th consecutive year. Enterprise Florida has secured space for a Florida Pavilion and individual booths are being offered for Florida companies to co-exhibit within the pavilion. Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS)

METS is the world’s largest trade exhibition of marine equipment, materials and systems and technologies. Export Sales Mission to Dominican Republic
November 13 - 16, 2018 | Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
Enterprise Florida will lead a delegation of Florida manufacturers and services providers to further trade relations between Florida and the Dominican Republic. Facilitated by the U.S.-Central America Free Trade Agreement, the U.S. has become the chief trading partner for the Dominican Republic and exporters benefit from reduced tariffs and barriers. Enterprise Florida is collaborating with the U.S. Commercial Service to coordinate the mission and facilitate business to business meetings for the Florida participants. Small and medium-sized Florida companies may qualify for a Gold Key Grant from Enterprise Florida which will offset 100% of the Gold Key Service fee.

Japan International Aerospace Exhibition 2018
November 28 - 30, 2018 | Tokyo, Japan
Florida aviation and aerospace companies are invited by Enterprise Florida, Inc., the Consulate of Japan, and the Florida Delegation, Southeast U.S./Japan Association, to participate in the Japan International Aerospace Exhibition 2018. Japan is the largest aerospace industrial market in Asia and the Japanese aerospace industry has a huge potential for growth. The exhibition is expected to bring together approximately 20,000 participants that represent a diverse range of aerospace-related businesses: air frames/air components, engines, space equipment/services, material/consumables, manufacturing/processing machines, and more.
