| Last Chance to Nominate a Colleague or Pier for a 2012-13 Chapter Award |
Each year, we have the opportunity to nominate our peers for one of nine prestigious chapter awards, including the Young Professional Achievement Award, new for 2013. The awards are then presented at the Annual Awards Recognition Gala to be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile. Don’t miss the opportunity to honor those people who go above and beyond each day. Please note the deadline to nominate a peer for an award is January 25, 2013.

| TechCon Professional Education Grant Deadline Extended |
|
MPI-CAC members in good standing who are interested in attending TechCon Chicago 2013 on Febuary 19 now have more timet to apply for one of two professional education grants which cover the full-day registration fee to that conference (a $145 value). The deadline to apply for a Professional Education Grant to attend TechCon has been extended to January 31, 2013.

In addition, this winter the chapter is giving away three professional and three student membership grants for new or renewing members, which covers their membership dues. Membership Grant applications are due February 15, 2013.
