Brescia: Existing high temperature district heating network

The A2A pilot project involves part of the Brescia district heating network in a low building density area consisting mainly of terraced houses and some apartment blocks.

Nurnberg region: New rural district heating network

A new network in the Nurnberg region will supply heat to a less dense area of new buildings, heated by residual heat of a biogas plant and biogas CHPs.

Save the Date: 28th January 2021, Webinar on Windsbach demo and solutions for low-density heat areas

New year, new TEMPO event. On 28th January 2021 a webinar dedicated to the Windsbach demo will be organized. The virtual event will focus on the implemented innovation in the German sites and to the low-density heat zones in general. Stay tuned for more information. Registrations will open soon.

Latest publications: Economic benefits of fourth generation district heating

In this paper by Helge Averfalk and Sven Werner from the Halmstad University, the potential economic benefits of reducing the temperature in DH networks are analyzed. In this paper, the differences in heat supply costs for two different temperature levels have been estimated for various future heat supply options.

TEMPO Session at the Euroheat & Power Congress in Vilnius in May 2021

The next EHP Congress will go hybrid and this time a one-day session will be exclusively dedicated to TEMPO. On 4th May 2021, experts will debate about AI and Big Data management in the field of district heating. Stay tuned for more information !
