Immediate Skin-to-Skin Contact Improves Breastfeeding Rates
Clinicians from Centra Virginia Baptist Hospital and Palmetto Health Richland in South Carolina, two of the 89 hospitals participating in the Best Fed Beginnings initiative, are seeing increases in breastfeeding rates when new moms and babies share immediate skin-to-skin contact after birth.
