My Daughter's Best Fed Beginnings

Karthi Streb, MPH, is the director of NICHQ’s Best Fed Beginnings project. She is also a new mom who has experienced the challenges of learning to breastfeed. “I now have great appreciation for the highly coordinated care I received for those first few weeks… not all hospitals provide this high level of seamless maternity care and there is a great need to make that change,” she says in this month’s Leadership Message.
