It's Spring Training Time at
Hincks Dellcrest (HD) Institute
Don't miss out on the Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behaviour (UMAB) Certificate 2-day or 3-day program starting on March 26. The UMAB certificate program is a skills-based training program that is an intensive and highly effective method of safely managing aggressive children, youth or adults. The 2-Day program begins with a breakdown of the precipitating factors of aggression, and the theory regarding the physiological, psychological and behavioural cues and changes that occur in aggressive individuals. Day three focuses on containment, and physical restraints. For more information, or to register for the 2018 UMBA Certificate follow the link: www.cvent.com/d/y5qj2h.

This April the Institute is pleased to welcome many great facilitators such as Jamie C. Farquhar, PhD., CPsych., to present his workshop Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders: Core Components, and Leslie Greenberg, Ph.D., with his workshop Emotion, Love, Power and Forgiveness in Couples Therapy to name only a few in our April training line-up. Visit www.sickkidscmh.ca for more information on facilitators, programs, training and services available at HD Institute this coming Spring!
