The Alaska Department of Education and Early Development (DEED) is recruiting educators to provide input regarding test design for the new Performance Evaluation for Alaska's Schools (PEAKS) Science assessments based on new Alaska Science Standards adopted in June, 2019. The Assessment Review meeting will take place in Anchorage, AK on January 14 - 16, 2020.
The Assessment Review will consist of panelists working together in the following groups:
Panel diversity is essential and DEED will select panelists, to the best extent possible, based on the tested student population of Alaska in terms of ethnicity, gender, and regional representation.

Application Process: To apply, click the button below and complete all the questions that follow. Completion of all questions is essential for best placement of panelists. NOTE: The survey will time out after 40 minutes and data may be lost.
Travel and Per Diem: Panelists' travel to and from Anchorage will be covered, as well as lodging and daily per diem. A daily stipend of $150 will be provided to all participants. Panelists will receive further details via email upon selection.
