LAVCA has agreed to partner with ASCRI (Asociación Española de Capital, Crecimiento e Inversión) around the ongoing promotion of private capital in Latin America via an official acuerdo de colaboración.
The objective of the partnership is to build bridges between both continents and promote bilateral investment.
Other partners include IDB LAB, AMEXCAP, ARCAP, ACVC, France Invest, ColCapital.
José Zudaire, General Manager of ASCRI: “In recent years, the countries of Latin America have undergone rapid growth in entrepreneurial activity and have launched several innovative initiatives. More and more Spanish Venture Capital & Private Equity funds are taking an interest in these countries with which we share a historical tradition, and I am confident that this agreement will be the beginning of a long collaboration from which all countries will emerge stronger."

VCs and Brazil's top tech players can now register for LAVCA Encontro Anual Brasil, an annual, invitation-only meeting scheduled for April 22 in São Paulo.
This year's program includes a 🔥 keynote fireside chat with Quinn Li, Global Head of Qualcomm Ventures.
Additional discussion leaders and topics to be announced.
Encontro Anual Brasil is hosted by LAVCA with the support of Qualcomm Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank, as well as Latin American Tech Growth Coalition members Google, Facebook, AWS, Microsoft, SoftBank, Visa, Wayra (a Telefonica initiative), and ABVCAP.
LAVCA members are invited to a private member-only dinner hosted by Microsoft following the meeting.
