Dayton Mall is one of the last malls remaining in Montgomery County, Ohio. The shopping center is located in Miami Township, between the suburbs of Centerville, and Miamisburg. Lying ten miles (16 km) south of downtown Dayton, the mall has attracted millions of visitors since its grand opening in 1970. It has become the hub of the region. The mall is one mile (1.6 km) from Interstate 75 and two miles (3 km) from Interstate 675. Dayton Mall is owned by Glimcher Realty Trust, a Columbus-based firm, who acquired the complex in 1997. The company also owns The Mall at Fairfield Commons.
