The GR - Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre is a leading convention venue in Slovenia. It is situated in the city centre. It was established in 1954, and first exhibitions opened one year later. With its more than half-a-century tradition, it is an ideal venue for busy fairs, remarkable conventions and other entertaining, cultural and educative events. In recent years it has become an excellent place for contemporary interactive and educational worldwide exhibitions, such as Da Vinci - The Genius (2013), Brain: The Inside Story (2014) and 1001 Invention (2015). It is easily accessible: only a few minutes away from the main railway and bus station, with a city bus stop in front of the main entrance, and 2500 parking spaces in close vicinity it attracts 500,000 visitors per year.

Cankarjev dom believes that cultural, artistic and scientific creativity meets the basic condition for attaining spiritual freedom and richer spiritual lives of people and social development. Our cultural and congress centre presents, produces, co-produces, organises and provides cultural and artistic, congress and other events, state ceremonies, exhibitions and festivals. Since CD is mostly a cultural centre, over two thirds of the available halls are annually reserved for culture and the arts.

The Central Stone Bridge of the Triple Bridge, built in 1842, occupies the historic site of a former wooden bridge, strategically connecting the lands of Northwestern Europe with the Balkans or Southeastern Europe. Between 1929 and 1932, Plečnik added two pedestrian bridges to the central bridge, creating a unique architectural marvel in Ljubljana. Plečnik replaced the central bridge's metal railing with a massive stone balustrade, adorned with lamps, extending this design to all three bridges. Each lateral bridge features two staircases leading to a terrace by the river, where Plečnik planted poplar trees, adding a distinctive touch to the bridge's appearance. On the right bank, a gift shop complements the bridge near the Market, while a kiosk stands on the left bank. The Triple Bridge serves as a pivotal point where two of Plečnik's urban axes intersect: the water axis and the axis connecting Rožnik with Ljubljana Castle. In 1992, the Triple Bridge underwent thorough renovation.

The National Gallery is Slovenia's foremost institution for classical art, showcasing a vast collection spaning from the High Middle Ages to the 20th century. Visitors can explore permanent displays, including works by Zoran Mušič, a prominent 20th-century modernist painter, alongside occasional special exhibitions. Its permanent collection arranged chronologically, comprises nearly 600 European and Slovenian artworks, ranging from medieval church art to baroque masterpieces and works by renowned Slovenian painters like Ivana Kobilca and the impressionists Ivan Grohar, Rihard Jakopič, and Matija Jama. Moreover, the gallery houses Ljubljana's significant baroque treasure, the original Fountain of Three Carniolan Rivers by Francesco Robba. Additional amenities include Gal's Room for family events, a library, a gallery shop, and a café.

The Ljubljana Castle, with over 900 years of history, proudly stands as the main attraction overlooking the city. Visitors can enjoy stunning views from the Viewing Tower and explore museum exhibitions showcasing Slovenian history, the Puppet Museum, and historical chambers such as the Chapel of St. George and the Dungeon.
