Welcome to Glacier Country, Montana. Over the years, our corner of Montana (the westernmost region) has fine-tuned our reputation as an outdoor hotspot with—what we like to call—the perfect splash of culture.
Our millions of acres weave their way in, out and through experiences and adventures that are distinctly Montana. Within our boundaries are spectacular places like Glacier National Park, the Bob Marshall Wilderness, the rose-colored cliffs of the Alberton Gorge, two Indian reservations—the Flathead and Blackfeet–and blue-ribbon trout streams that include the Blackfoot, Bitterroot and Clark Fork rivers.
But that’s not all. We’re also home to stunning mountain lodges, cozy family inns, downhill ski resorts, natural hot springs, legendary cultural events and perhaps what we’re most well-known for: our stunning scenery.
