The Commodore Motel in Mount Gambier was built in 1963 on the site of the town’s old Sale yards. Established by successful motelier George Frew as part of his established chain of Motels, stretching throughout Western Victoria and Queensland; the Commodore was taken over by Leanne and Evan Kosch in January 1989.
