Located at the Crossroads of New England, the intersection of I-91 and I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike), Massachusetts’ Pioneer Valley is your gateway to Boston, Hartford, New York City and the rest of the New England states. But you may never leave once you see our unique attractions, delectable dining, first-class accommodations, culture, history and the serenity of the great outdoors.
Getting here is half the fun with Bradley International airport just 20 minutes to the south and Westover Metropolitan Airport right in the heart of the Valley. Daily service is available from most major cities domestically and internationally. Many low-cost carriers serve our Valley including Skybus, now operating daily flights from Columbus and Greensboro, NC. Amtrak also connects the Pioneer Valley with our neighbors to the north and south and Springfield is the birthplace and northern hub for Peter Pan Bus Line’s service throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic states.
At the center of everything is our center for everything...the MassMutual Center (MMC). This state-of-the-art convention center has a total of 100,000 square feet of meeting, ballroom and exhibit space. The 6,700-seat MMC arena is also home to our Springfield Falcons AHL hockey team and the site of concerts, family shows and other sporting events.
