Queen Elizabeth Forest Park is home to some fascinating wildlife.  Spot red squirrel, badgers, hedgehogs, bats, red and roe deer to name a few. If you are a bird of prey enthusiast visit David Marshall Lodge, Forestry Commission Scotland's visitor centre at Queen Elizabeth Forest Park.  Here you will be able to watch families of ospreys, buzzards, kestrels and blue tits on both live and recorded CCTV footage.  The Bird of Prey Trail will take you on a 40km tour of the Trossachs where you can spot sparrowhawk, hen harriers, red kite and more.

Nick Nairn Cook School

Recreation
15 minutes away
Team building takes the form of "Can you stand the heat?", or opt for a full day of hands-on kitchen action with "Stir it Up". The unique nature of our school makes it perfect for product launches with a difference, so “If you’ve got it flaunt it!” as they say. All programmes are taken by our highly experienced senior chef tutors, John Webber, Alan Mathieson and optionally, myself. Passionate but patient, with unique wide ranging backgrounds, we bring unrivalled culinary firepower to your event. Informal and fun, we provide an experience that not only challenges and surprises, but ultimately rewards. One of the greatest things about cooking is that is such a fantastic leveller. Forget abseiling, forget off-road driving, nothing breaks down corporate barriers like a soufflé that refuses to rise! As countless companies have already discovered, our team-building programme is highly motivational, educational and above all, fun.

Stirling

Historical landmark
40 minutes away
Take time for a trip to the historic city of Stirling, just 40 mins away. Visit the Castle perched on its rock towering over the city and explore cobbled streets. Shops, bars and nightlife.

Go Ape

Recreation
4 minutes away
It’s not in the dictionary, but if it was, Go Ape would be described as a ‘high-wire forest adventure’. That means we build giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and top it all off with the country’s best zip lines. We then kit people out with harnesses, pulleys and karabiners, give them a 30 minute safety briefing and training and let them loose into the forest canopy, free to swing through the trees. Of course, instructors are always on hand, regularly patrolling the forests (not in monkey suits unfortunately!) The result is spectacular. The Go Ape experience gets the adrenalin pumping, gets people out of their comfort zones and above all (no pun intended), it’s just great fun.
