The Molopo Kalahari Lodge, named after the currently dry river the Molopo, is situated in the area known as the Green Kalahari, 200km north of Upington, 5km from the Botswana border and 60km from the world famous Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. A proverbial oasis in this Semi-desert region. The Kalahari Molopo is an ideal stop over on your way to the Park or merely a breakaway from the busy city life. The Molopo offers 10 stylish chalets that are a bit more private and situated further away from the main lodge. The Molopo Camping Chalets are situated the furthest from the lodge and restaurant at the entrance of the Molopo Kalahari Lodge. These 6 individual chalets are not only comfortable but also very spacious. The Molopo offers 10 luxurious rondavels that are located next to the main swimming pool in the garden underneath lush Kalahari thorn trees. The Molopo offers 6 tented chalets nestle positioned on the surrounding Kalahari dunes overlooking the lodge from their individual private wooden decks. The large conference boma, with BBQ and bar facilities, provides seating for more than 100 people. The large boma is idyllic for weddings with a spacious dance area, complete catering facilities and BBQ or set menu.
