The Deutsches Museum Bonn shows some 100 contemporary masterpieces of science and technology. They represent significant scientific and technical developments of the past six decades. The exhibits also feature the results of several lines of research that were rewarded with Nobel prizes. The Museum is an offshoot of the world-famous Museum in Munich (its only branch outside the Munich area). It is housed in the Wissenschaftszentrum of the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft. Monday is ideal for all-day events for private parties since the museum is closed to regular visitors on Mondays. The museum can be booked for private evening events from Tuesday through Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. The museum can also be used during the day, for example, for a champagne reception or creative workshop.
