Arriving By Plane: From Faro International Airport (FAO) - 20 minutes from the hotel. From Lisbon International Airport (LIS) - 2 hours and 30 minutes from the hotel. From Seville International Airport (SVQ) - 2 hours from the hotel. Arriving by car: - From Faro International Airport: Approximately 20 minutes by car. Directions: When leaving the airport, follow the N125 towards Almancil, then still on the N125, take the Estr. do Ludo and Estr. da Quinta do Lago to Av. André Jordan and then follow the signs to Wyndham Grand Algarve. - From Lisbon International Airport: Approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes driving. Directions: Take the A2 motorway towards the Algarve. After about 250 kilometres, leave the motorway and you'll find the A22. Follow the signs for Faro/Spain. Leave the A22 at the Loulé/Faro exit. Follow the N125 towards Almancil, then still on the N125, take the R. Sacadura Cabral to Av. André Jordan and then follow the signs to Wyndham Grand Algarve. - Seville International Airport: Approximately 2 hours driving. Directions: Take the A49 towards Portugal and, after around 130 kilometres, you'll cross the border into Portugal. Continue on the A22 motorway towards Loulé. Follow the N125 to Almancil,then still on the N125, take the Estr. do Ludo and Estr. da Quinta do Lago to Av. André Jordan and then follow the signs to Wyndham Grand Algarve. Arriving by private airport transfer: From Faro International Airport (FAO) to the Wyndham Grand Algarve costs around €55 per each way, for maximum 4 people with 1 regular luggage per person. During night time rate increases aproximately €10,00. Minibus or Bus transfer can be arranged on request basis.

Designed in 1974 by william mitchell, who raised the bar by introducing american-standard greens, tees and bunkers to the algarve, it soon gained the reputation of being one of europe’s main courses and remains one of the flagship european tour courses. The course hosted the portuguese open in 1976, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990 and 2001.
