The Greenbrier is an easy drive from any city east of the Mississippi. Flying to The Greenbrier: Greenbrier Valley Airport (LWB), served by SkyWest/United tickets available for purchase at www.united.com . Greenbrier Valley Airport is located only 15 minutes away from The Greenbrier. United/SkyWest will offer daily flights to and from Chicago O'Hare (ORD) and Washington Dulles (IAD) Airports. Other airports convenient to The Greenbrier include Roanoke, VA (ROA) and Charleston, WV (CRW), Beckley, WV (BKW), with service provided by major carriers and daily non stop flights to several major airports. Taking the Train to The Greenbrier: The Greenbrier and Amtrak are proud to introduce Business Class service from Washington D.C. to White Sulphur Springs, WV (WSS), conveniently located next to The Greenbrier's Christmas Shop at The Depot! Amtrak's Cardinal Route travels from New York's Penn Station to Chicago's Union Station three times per week. In addition to Business Class, The Cardinal offers roomettes, ADA Bedrooms and coach seating. Private Flights to The Greenbrier: General Aviation/Private Jet Service, Executive jets, chartered aircraft and all other general aviation traffic arrivals also choose the Greenbrier Valley Airport (LWB), for its 7,004-foot runway and amenities. The Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau is the official destination marketing organization of Greenbrier County, West Virginia. The Greenbrier County CVB is a 501 © 6 non-profit corporation formed in 2001 with the mission to “positively impact the area’s economy by marketing it as a premier tourist destination.” The CVB is funded by 50% of the lodging tax (according to WV State Code 7-18-1) collected by Greenbrier County and the municipalities of Lewisburg, Rainelle, White Sulphur Springs, Ronceverte and Alderson.

The Greenbrier River Trail

The Greenbrier River Trail is a 78-mile long rail trail operated by West Virginia State Park system. Trail uses include bicycling, backpacking, cross-country skiing and horseback riding. A packed, crusher run surface coupled with a mere one per cent grade creates an ease of riding that allows cyclists, young and old, to enjoy the many breathe-taking views. The trail closely mirrors its namesake, the Greenbrier River, for most of its length offering trail users countless opportunities for swimming and fishing. The Greenbrier River Trail traverses one of the most remote areas in the state and lies adjacent to the Monongahela National Forest, Seneca State Forest and Watoga State Park. A trip along the trail is truly a “Wild and Wonderful” experience. Trail users are encouraged to wear blaze orange or brightly colored outerwear during hunting seasons in West Virginia.

Lost World Caverns

Descend 120 feet below the Earth's surface into a vast wonderland of stalactites and stalagmites. Lost World Caverns, discovered in 1942, is a truly magical place for both young and old. It takes approximately 45 minutes to walk through. We offer self-guided tours so you can take your time to explore the cavern at your own pace. Just remember to stay on the trail. A guide sheet is provided to tell you about the many different formations that make up this 1/2 mile loop. No matter what the temperature on the outside, the cave always remains a constant 52 degrees. A light jacket and good shoes are recommended.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation from 0 – 90 days prior to the arrival date, 100 percent of all cancelled contracted guest rooms and food and beverage revenues plus applicable taxes and fees. Cancellation from 91 – 180 days prior to the arrival date, 75 percent of all cancelled contracted guest rooms and food and beverage revenues plus applicable taxes and fees. Cancellation greater than 181 days prior to the arrival date, 50 percent of all cancelled contracted guest rooms and food and beverage revenues plus applicable taxes and fees. Cancellation must be received in writing. In the event of a cancellation, attrition allowances are not applicable. The date of the received written notice will be the official date of cancellation. One hundred percent (100%) of the determined liquidated damages is due fifteen (15) days after the Resort is advised of the cancellation.
