The Feathers Royal Hotel is located in Aberaeron, Wales. It has a strong tradition of hospitality. As the focal point of the small seaside port town of Aberaeron on the beautiful Cardigan Bay Coast, the Feathers was originally an 18th Century Coaching Inn offering food and shelter to travelers and locals alike. For a family celebration, reunion or business lunch, for your party of 14 guests or fewer you can book the Alban Gwynne room all to yourselves and be sure of receiving individual attention and service tailored to your needs. Its function suite, probably the largest in the Ceredigion with a complete pillar free area can cater for a seated meal of up to 230 guests, whilst it is licensed for up to 540 for a party. It can also cater for the smaller more intimate wedding receptions in our beautiful restaurant, with the use our comfortable lounge, again with its own private entrance from the courtyard. Both rooms are licensed for Civil Weddings. After a memorable dinner and a nightcap in the Welsh Cob Bar, it’s off to bed. You won’t be surprised to learn, we didn’t stint on comfort and convenience when it came to refurbishing our thirteen luxury, en-suite rooms. The decor, furniture and fittings have all been selected to create an atmosphere of period refinement, yet in a comfortable, ‘country house’ style, with wider beds, organic fabrics, hypo-allergenic fillings and low v.o.c. paints.
