Ceredigion Museum is a living mediator between the past and present. We aim to reflect the history of the county through material evidence. Ceredigion Museum is based at the Coliseum, Aberystwyth, with additional facilities throughout the county. It was built as a theatre in 1904-5 by David Phillips, it was the venue for at least 5,000 events including Eisteddfodau and political meetings. The Coliseum is available for hire for meetings, receptions and special events.
