University of Brighton's historic Faculty of Arts is located across four campuses. It provides a stimulating environment for study in the creative and performing arts, design and the humanities. Located on Grand Parade in the centre of Brighton, just a few minutes walk from the seafront and city centre, the Sallis Benney Theatre and University of Brighton Gallery complex provides a unique and adaptable series of spaces, which play host to an exciting annual programme of events and exhibitions. Alongside live music, dance, comedy and theatre, the Sallis Benney Theatre programme features a variety of public lectures, conferences, symposiums and festivals. The Grand Parade campus also features a large Quad Garden with outdoor seating and roof terrace, offering a welcoming, private green space in the city centre. This area is also available to hire and is used annually for the Faculty of Arts graduate exhibition and fashion shows.
