Mpotshane Private Game Reserve is located in Cape Town, South Africa. This hidden treasure is situated only 60 km from East London on the N2 traveling towards Durban. The Reserve is Privately owned and was established about ten years ago and we have decided to open the reserve to the public so that you can also share this unexplored paradise with us. The Reserve is partly mountainous, with gorges, waterfalls and hanging cliffs, offering some of the most spectacular views in Southern Africa. Open plains and bush that vary from pristine to ravine together with impassable wild areas create a haven for the above mentioned species. The Lodge offers accommodation in the form of five en-suite thatched units. All units have electric lights, queen size beds with comfortable mattresses, rustic wooden headboards, rustic bedside tables and bedside lamps, bedside mats and chest of drawers. The restaurant and catering facilities at Mpotshane offer a wide variation of menus to suit all tastes and cultures, so whether you are an international client enjoying a well deserved holiday or here locally having a weekend away, you can be sure that all your dietary and catering requirements will be met. In addition, its beautiful thatched lodge is perfect for your wedding day, with a stunning view from our deck of the Mpotshane gorge; your special day will be remembered by all for years to come.
