The Waterworks

About us
The Waterworks, originally named Waiau Waterworks, was developed by Chris Oglivie on land that once was his father’s farm. Work commenced in 1989 by the Oglivie family, planting gardens from scratch, collecting cuttings from plants that locals had successfully grown over the years. Our large café and outdoor tent canopy provide a suitable venue for special occasions such as wedding anniversaries, birthdays and other special milestones. We can cater for us to 36 guests in our café, 120 guests in our outdoor pavilion or alternatively you can organize your own marquee to be set up in our gardens.
