Why Choose Our Destination?

Welcome to Denver, where 300 days of sunshine, a thriving cultural scene, diverse neighborhoods and urban adventure combine to make the world's best meeting destination. A vibrant city at the base of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, Denver is raking in the accolades — Lonely Planet called it one of the Best U.S. Destinations and it also landed at number two in U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 list of the best places to live. And the reasons that make Denver a great place to reside are the same reasons why it’s a great place to meet. Denver International Airpot (DEN) is America’s best airport (according to both the Wall Street Journal and Skytrax!) and getting even better. DEN services more than 1,600 daily flights, making it the 5th busiest in the nation and 20th busiest in the world. It’s in the top three largest domestic networks, with nonstop service to nearly 200 U.S. cities. International service is also booming, as DEN has recently grown to a roster of 26 international nonstop routes. An extensive development project is currently underway that will add 39 new gates and expand the Great Hall. Once here, the A Line train will whisk your attendees directly from DEN to Denver Union Station, which has been renovated into a hip transportation, dining, shopping and entertainment hub. The station is within walking distance of chef-driven restaurants, breweries, museums, theaters and more than 11,000 hotel rooms. Recent hotel openings include the 233-room Hilton Garden Inn Union Station, the 201-room Jacquard Hotel in the Cherry Creek neighborhood and the 100-room Source Hotel + Market Hall in the River North Arts District (RiNo). A 382-room, 21-story dual-branded Home2 Suites and Tru Hotels by Hilton will open later in 2019. Denver is also rapidly growing to meet the needs of larger meetings and conventions. The Colorado Convention Center is set to undergo a major expansion, including the development of 80,000 square feet of new flexible meeting space, upgraded ballrooms, improved networking space and best-in-class technology updates. Plus, there will be a new 50,000 square-foot outdoor terrace with unobstructed views of the Rocky Mountains. More spectacular views can be found on the patios and rooftops of Denver’s chef-driven restaurants, including those in historic Larimer Square and at Avanti F&B, part of the city’s recent boom of food halls and gourmet markets. From Food & Wine to The New York Times, Denver's reputation for fine dining has risen enormously, thanks to James Beard Award-winning chefs and season 15 of Top Chef, which filmed in Denver and Colorado.
