CIVANA is a destination wellness resort located just north of Scottsdale. Our group wellness experience honors this by bringing in a piece of wellness to your corporate retreat. Ran by our private programming and wellness guides we honor your company vision by fortifying bonds, building team momentum, or by sleeping in just as much as waking up for a 6am for a Group Hike. Founded by two hospitality outsiders who both had transformative wellness experiences and wanted to share what they discovered with others, found wellness travel not approachable for their friends and family both from a price point and also the restrictive nature of most wellness resorts, so they set out to build something different. Our holistic approach to wellness is supported through our (4) pillars. Fitness & Movement, Personal Growth & Discovery, Spa and Culinary. The property itself has been restored to its mid-century modern origins following a $50 million renovation. The expansive Spa focuses on the art of healing through water. Guests feel renewed with access to innovative spa treatments, an adults-only spa salt-water pool, sundeck, and a one-of-kind therapeutic aqua therapy water circuit. CIVANA is a boutique destination where guests are able to experience healthy cuisine for all dietary needs. All CIVANA stays include 25+ unlimited access to our regularly scheduled daily wellness programming in the beautiful setting of the Sonoran Desert. CIVANA offers 144 luxury guestrooms; 15,000 square feet of indoor meeting space as well as several stunning outdoor spaces which can be used for meals, fresh-air breakouts, or locations for private programs. The Resort is located just 20 minutes north of Old Town Scottsdale and 45 minutes North of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Tesla car service for up to 3 people in our private vehicle at $175.00 per way or $300.00 round trip. Shuttle van service to Phoenix Sky Harbor at $55.00 per person each way. Maximum including luggage is at 10 people per van. Local shuttle van service within a 5-mile radius of the resort at $165.00 per hour (minimum rental of 3 hours per van). Maximum occupancy at 14 people per van. If further than 5 miles there is a premium upcharge based upon need. All transportation must be booked within 7 days of arrival to avoid a surcharge fee of 20% Any requested time before 6:00 AM or 8:00 PM and after will be at a premium upcharge based upon requested need. Any cancellations within 72 hours have a 50% penalty applied.

Facility Restrictions
Maximum 300 guests per program for group operation with a noted wellness intention for their program including spa, private wellness programming and F&B. CIVANA is a fully smoke-free property. Smoking is not permitted on resort grounds including guestrooms and patios. This policy also applies to electronic smoking devices such as e-cigarettes. Children under the age of 14 are not permitted. Persons 14 to 17 years of age may stay with an accompanying adult in the same room. The minimum age for program guests is 14 years old. The minimum age for access to the Spa is 18 years old.
Cancellation Policy
Group contracts have individual terms and set attrition policy. Individual guest reservation cancellation policy is 7-days in advance of arrival.

Grounded in its principles of sustainability, attainability and possibility, CIVANA's renovation is an adaptive re-use of an existing facility, incorporating a natural design palette and materials, while improving energy efficiency by introducing solar energy in its new spa building.
