Located at 157 Macquarie Street in a 1920’s Art Deco building, the Astor Grill is an iconic Hobart restaurant. The two elegant dining rooms still retain Art Deco style with a modern touch. Our philosophy is to source the best quality local and mainland seasonal produce including the freshest seafood and prime Tasmanian meats for our modern Australian menu. We cater to a variety of private functions, personal celebrations and intimate wedding receptions for up to 50 people seated. Our dining rooms can also host “stand up” cocktail functions for up to 80 people.
