About us

Hotel Slottshotellet is a small sanctuary hidden away in the historical part of Kalmar. Cross the river that flows through the city and you will find yourself in the heart of the city centre, where the little boutiques, shops and restaurants are situated. Why not cross the street from the hotel and walk through the lush city park and discover the newly built Art Museum or the ever so grand Castle of Kalmar. The castle hotel in Kalmar has 71 unique rooms to offer. To start a summer day with breakfast in our garden, the rose bushes are equally appreciated as to curl with a coffee in the saloon on a rainy autumn evening. We have now also features a low-cost housing options that are located across the street from the castle hotel in a quiet, beautiful area in the old town.
