About us

Fantail Lodge blends nature’s tranquility with an inspiration for true class. Fantail Lodge Garden Estate has its own restaurant ‘Chapeau’, catering mainly for house guests, but for local diners and special occasions - on a pre-booked basis. The lodge’s restaurant is among the leading provincial restaurants near Tauranga, Wahi Beach and Mount Maunganui, owner Harrie Geraerts often giving the finishing touch to the creations himself. All suite accommodation - All suites are set in park-like native bush surroundings, rich in birdlife. It also provides 3 conference rooms. Host your conference or corporate event in the lush retreat environment of Fantail Lodge Conference Hotel. We have excellent facilities and can accommodate groups of up to 34 overnight guests or a larger daytime number.
