About us
St Edmund Hall is in the heart of Oxford, with its main entrance on Queen’s Lane, just off the High Street. It is perfect for that ‘Oxford Experience’ for those wishing to indulge in the ambiance of an Oxford college with its buildings steeped in centuries of academic history. The Old Dining Hall was built in 1652 and is maintained in its original condition with minstrels’ gallery and portraits of former Principals gazing down. It can accommodate an intimate seated dinner for up to 43 people or a meeting for up to 60 people. This room is licensed for civil ceremonies and makes an ideal setting for the smaller ceremony. In the College's main Dining Hall we can offer dining facilities for up to 250 people. The flexible arrangement of this room means it is ideal for music, dancing, drinks receptions and buffets. This room is also licensed for Civil Wedding & Partnership Ceremonies.
