St. Andrews State Park

Located minutes from the resort on our own 48 passenger Bay Lady Boat offers St. Andrews State Park which is consistently one of the most popular and most visited state parks in Florida -- Given that Dr. Beach has also called it the Best Beach in America, it's no wonder! St. Andrews State Park is situated on a peninsula at the far eastern edge of Panama City Beach. Bordered by the Gulf of Mexico to the south, the St. Andrews Pass to the east, and the Grand Lagoon to the north, you're never far from a relaxing sea breeze, or a chance to get a little sand between your toes while exploring the shoreline here.

Panama City Beaches

4 mi. away
Lauded as one of America's most beautiful public beaches, Panama City Beach boasts 27 miles of dazzling white sand and gentle jade waters. The calm Gulf waves are perfect for casual surfing and lighthearted wave hopping, while an abundance of tranquil sandbars are ideal for mid-ocean photo ops. Beachgoers also delight in deep sea fishing, parasailing, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving and simply lounging on the soft, sugary sand while basking under the shimmering Florida sun.

Camp Helen State Park

Camp Helen State Park is bordered by water on three sides, and the unique combination makes it the ecological wonder that it is. Lake Powell forms the eastern border, and is one of the largest rare coastal dune lakes found only a few places in the world. At times, this freshwater lake will breech the spit of land that separates it from the Gulf of Mexico, and the resulting channel causes fresh and salt water to mix, resulting in what's known as "brackish" water. The park is home to five distinct natural communities, including mesic flatwoods, scrub oak, basin swamp, depression marsh, and marine unconsolidated substrate. Each of these ecosystems can be viewed in only a short walk through Camp Helen State Park, but you might want to have both your hiking boots and your flip-flops handy, as you'll spend time both in the woods and on the beach here! There is no camping at Camp Helen State Park, but fishing, boating and fires are allowed in designated areas. No lifeguard is on duty, so exercise caution and use good judgment when entering any body of water.

Peir Park

10 minutes away
Welcome to Pier Park, located in the heart of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Among the 124 stores, Pier Park features Target, Forever 21, Dillards, JCPenneys and Marshalls. Our outdoor property boasts many dining and entertainment options: A movie at the Grand IMAX Theater… dinner, drinks, and dueling pianos at Rum Runners Tropical Grill…or live music at Tootsies. Pier Park serves the surrounding Panama City Beach, Panama City and 30A communities, and has stores ranging from jewelry to women’s clothing to home décor. Pier Park is proud to be a premier shopping destination to locals and visitors alike. The team here would like to welcome you, and we hope you visit us soon! FEATURED STORES Target, jcpenney, Hofbrau Beer Garden, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Dillard's, Back Porch Seafood and Oyster House, Longhorn Steakhouse, Forever 2 Mall Hours Monday to Saturday 10am - 9pm Sunday 12pm - 7pm

Water Activities

Cruises, Boating & Fishing The Gulf of Mexico is beautiful from the white-sand shores of Panama City Beach, but you get a totally different perspective out on the water, whether you're fishing, zipping across the Gulf on a banana boat or just kicking back on one of our famous sunset cruises. Dolphin cruises are another great way to see Panama City Beach by water and observe dolphins in their natural habitat.Parasailing Fast boats lift parachutes high in the air, and you with them. Go solo, or try our big chutes to share the experience with family and friends. Of all the beach sports you might try, this one that gives you a bird's-eye view you'll never forget! Kiteboarding Aka "kitesurfing," this is one of nature's most zen adventures - just you, a small board and wind to pull you along! In addition to Panama City Beach, some barrier islands like Shell Island, offer spectacular and serene riding areas.
