About us

Hotel Althof Retz is situated at the foot of the idyllic vineyards, under the famous wind mill, in the Retzer Land - an area of great natural beauty. Comfort in modern country house style - that´s how we like to define ourselves. This can also be felt in Every corner of the house. Warm colors are used to put emphasis on that feeling and atmosphere. Our hotel provides nine conference rooms with a capacity of up to 350 persons with most up to date technology. Moreover, there is a lot of greenery all around for breaks and outdoor activities. The Althof VinoSPA invites you to enjoy a unique spa experience across several levels: take a dip in the rooftop pool with unobstructed views of the famous windmill and unwind in the historic setting of centuries-old vaulted cellars. Our Winzerzimmer rooms are the perfect extra touch for key partners, long-standing customers or trainers. The culinary philosophy: regional authenticity paired with a Mediterranean lifestyle. In keeping with the region, you’ll also find everything to do with wine here, including the hotel’s own Heurigen and the local wine shop.
