With 688 m², the Foyer is the Main Hall of entry Portal Teatro Castro Alves. The environment is home to events such as exhibitions, ceremonies and chamber music performances. To meet the public space is equipped with furniture, bar, toilet and a winter garden with mini-staircase leading to the Hanging Garden. The highlight of the Foyer is a panel designed by the artist Carybe, installed on site during the reopening TCA in 1993. The title of the work is "Episodes of Bahia History" and portrays, in the artist's vision, the foundation of the city of Salvador. The panel is one of the greatest works of Carybe with 17.50 x 3.50 m was made with materials such as stone, soapstone, wood, cement and ceramics.
