Savannah History Museum

The Savannah History Museum is housed in the old Central of Georgia Railway passenger shed, a National Historic Landmark built in the 1850s and 1860s. The railway used the building until 1972. In 1984, a historical attraction called The Great Savannah Exposition opened in the building. The Coastal Heritage Society took over operation of the successor to the Exposition, the Savannah History Museum, in 1990. The museum is now home to more than 10,000 artifacts-- the largest collection of artifacts in the entire coastal community.

The Savannah Convention Center is serviced by Savannah International Airport and is served by most major airlines with daily non-stop services from many major U.S. Cities. Savannah is easily access by I-95 and I-16. Amtrak provides regular service to Savannah and once in Savannah there are many transportation choices. The Express Shuttle serves 10 stops throughout the historic districk. The River Street Streetcar is an authentic 1930's model, updated to be environmentally friendly and ADA-accessible.

The Savannah International Trade & Convention Center is located right on the Savannah River in Savannah, Georgia. The center features spectacular views of the historic Savannah Downtown District.
