The Mercury Bay's rugged coastline covers some 20km of the eastern Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand. Our remarkable wines have been delicately crafted to resonate the vibrant beauty of the Coromandel's Mercury Bay Estate. The Cellar Door with its rustic style and charm and adjoining undercover expansive deck, it makes for a perfect location for the smaller private function and is also suitable for pre-reception drinks/nibbles and can comfortably allow up to 150 standing guests to mingle inside and out without feeling crowded. Mercury Bay Estate commands the most spectacular views. We have spent many years developing the grounds to create a simply stunning setting for weddings and special events. The grounds include a marquee platform situated adjacent to the pond which overlooks our Pinot Noir vines and out to Mercury Bay itself. The site will house a marquee large enough to cater for up to 200 seated guests.
