About us
The Black Swan at Oldstead is an award-winning restaurant with rooms awarded a Michelin Rising-Star & Three AA Rosettes for top quality food and 5 stars for bedrooms. The Black Swan is situated close to Byland Abbey, Coxwold and Kilburn and easily reached from Ampleforth College, Thirsk, Helmsley and York. We have a private dining room which seats 14-20 people perfect for hosting your special celebratory event. Menus can be tailored to suit your occasion. There are four stylish bedrooms situated in a south-facing wing overlooking beautiful rolling countryside. All the rooms are on the ground floor and each opens onto an individual terrace with a comfortable seating area.
