One block away is the 1,094-room Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld, with 60,000 square feet of meeting space. For large groups from 5,000 to 10,000 attendees, "The SeaWorld Exclusive Buyout" offers an evening filled with thrill rides like the Manta (a flying roller-coaster), high-energy shows such as "Shamu Rocks" and food and drink served at convenient locations throughout the Park. The "SeaWorld Thrills and Chills" program, with capacity for 1,000 to 4,000 guests, features costume entertainers, a live interactive DJ, and a reception in Penguin Plaza as well as access to thrill rides like Manta, Kraken and Journey to Atlantis.
For smaller groups, SeaWorld event venues abound: Highlights include Ports of Call, a dedicated banquet facility with a 12,000-square-foot ballroom, covered patio and tropical gardens for catered functions of meetings for groups of 100 to 750; Sea Harbor Pavilions, four covered pavilions for groups as large as 1,500; the Waterfront, a five-acre, outdoor nautical-themed neighborhood for parties and receptions; 5,000-seat Shamu Stadium, which can be utilized for CEO presentations, awards ceremonies and product launches; Discovery Cove, a tropical setting that features a Caribbean beach party for groups of 100 to 400 and Sharks Underwater Grill, where groups of 30 to 230 can dine in an environment surrounded by sharks and reef dwelling fish.
