Operated by Transperth, Perth's public bus system (part of Transperth's integrated bus, rail, and ferry system) runs throughout the city and surrounding areas, with a free transit zone in the inner city. Buses run daily and fare is determined by zone. All-day passes are available.

As part of its integrated bus, train, and ferry system, Transperth operates suburban train lines from the Perth Train Station on Wellington Street. The network covers 69 stations and runs to Midland, Armadale, Fremantle, Clarkson, and Mandurah. Fare is divided into nine fare zones and trains run daily.

A popular transportation mode for guests looking to visit South Perth, the Transperth Ferry runs across Swan River between Elizabeth Quay Jetty and Mends Street Jetty.
