In 2002, the airport completed the first C$15 million phase of a multi-year expansion project designed to exceed growth projections for the area. As part of its commitment to customer service and to its community, the airport offers wireless Internet throughout the terminal and works with the community to foster a healthy relationship between the facility and the environment. Short-term parking is located in front of the Air Terminal building and long-term parking is located just past the short-term lot.

Hamilton, Ontario Train information
GO Transit GO Transit passenger trains connect Hamilton with the greater Toronto area and Toronto's Union Station via the Lakeshore West line. Travelers wishing to travel to and from Hamilton via train may choose to travel in or out of Toronto's Union Station on Canada's VIA rail passenger train system, then connect to Hamilton using the GO Train. An adult fare from Hamilton to downtown Toronto is C$9.

Hamilton Street Railway Company Bus Line The Hamilton Street Railway Company is comprised of over 30 bus routes serving all areas of the city including Stoney Creek, Dundas, Ancaster and Burlington. Airport travelers can use Hamilton Street Railway's Glanbrook Trans-Cab service, which includes a taxi from the airport to a Hamilton Street Railway stop. Buses run daily on most routes from 5:30 to 1 AM. Bus fare is C$2.40 per person. Rental Cars Hamilton is serviced by all major rental car companies. Counters for Avis, Hertz and National are available at the airport directly across from the Domestic Arrivals Gate in the Air Terminal Building. Taxis Hamilton International Airport is serviced by Blue Line Taxi, Cab 199, Hamilton Cab, Hamilton Limo, Independent Taxi #7 and Symphony Limousine. Rates are C$3 for the first 71 meters and C$0.10 for each additional 71 meters.
