VIA Rail Canada
VIA Rail Canada service runs between Kitchener and Toronto, Guelph, London, and Sarnia via the Kitchener VIA Rail station at 126 Weber Street West. Open Monday through Friday from 5:15 am to 9:15 am and Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 1 pm and 3:30 to 7:45 pm, the station provides access to three trains per day running in each direction. Passengers can link up with regional Grand River Transit bus service at the Kitchener VIA Rail station.
Grand River Transit
The regional Grand River Transit bus system runs throughout Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo on a fixed route schedule via 66 bus routes, including iXpress routes. A variety of ticket options are available, including a daily pass for $7 per adult passenger.
Greyhound
The Waterloo Region features Greyhound service at three locations, including the 24-hour station at the University of Waterloo Student Life Center, located at 200 University Avenue West in Waterloo. The Kitchener Greyhound station, located at 15 Charles Street West, is open Monday through Friday from 5 am to 9 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 am to 9 pm, while the Cambridge Greyhound station, located at 1139 Industrial Road, is open Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 8:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm.
Rental Cars
The Region of Waterloo International Airport terminal houses counters for Avis, Hertz, and National, while the Toronto Pearson International Airport houses counters for Avis, Budget, Dollar/Thrifty, Enterprise, Hertz, and National/Alamo on the first level of the parking garages adjacent to both terminals.
