Sabah Airport information
Sabah is well connected domestically and internationally. The main gateway to Sabah is to Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA). Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia provides direct flights direct from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's capital city.
Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) serves the city of Kota Kinabalu and the entire west coast of Sabah as well as the gateway to other cities on the east coast, namely Sandakan, Tawau, and Lahad Datu. Located 8km southwest of the city centre, KKIA is the second busiest airport in Malaysia.

Sabah Ground information
Visitors here can get around the city in taxis, buses or e-hailing services.
In Kota Kinabalu, to get a taxi, you will need to get to a Taxi stand, Mall or Hotel. City buses do not go by schedule but the long-distance buses do. To go around the city, e-hailing services would be a great choice, Grab being the main e-hailing service here. Maxim is another e-hailing service available here.

Sabah Boat information
Head on to JESSELTON POINT TERMINAL for boat transfer services to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (Manukan/Sapi/Mamutik & Gaya islands), Sepanggar Island and also for ferry services to Labuan island.
Other transfer options to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park is through SUTERA HARBOUR MARINA.
Guests staying at Shangri-La's Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa (STAR) can also access the marine park through the STAR Marina.
