Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW)
Poland's largest and busiest airport Warsaw Chopin Airport is located in Wlochy district, 10 kilometers southwest of Warsaw City Centre. LOT Polish Airlines and Wizz Air are the biggest airlines at the airport, operating more than 50% of the airport traffic. There are almost 50 airlines operating at Warsaw Chopin airport, with approximately 300 daily flights daily to international and domestic destinations. The airport runs scheduled flights to major international destinations such as London (Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton), Paris (CdG and Beauvais), Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Chicago. Passengers can go from the airport to the city center in 20 minutes by rail. Bus lines 175, 188 and N32 also link WAW to the city center.

This regional public airport, located 35 km north-west of Warsaw, is home to low-cost airlines and charters, which operate international short-distance and medium-distance flights. The airport handles roughly 2 million passengers annually. Its biggest low-cost carrier is Ryanair that has regular international passenger flights to more than 30 European cities, including Barcelona, Glasgow, Brussels, Paris, Eindhoven, Milan, Liverpool, Stockholm, Oslo, London, Rome, Bologna, Bristol, Manchester, East Midlands, Dublin, Madrid, and Gothenburg. A few shuttle bus services run frequently from the airport to the railway station in Modlin.

Taxis Services
Only use taxis which have yellow-red stripes, a beacon sign ‘TAXI’, a hologram with the license number and the vehicle's registration number on the front glass, and a symbol of a mermaid affixed along both front doors. Taxi drivers are obliged to give their passenger a receipt, stating also the side number of the taxi and the vehicle's registration number.

Rail
Warsaw's metro system comprises 2 lines: M1 connects Bielany (Młociny station) directly to the southern part of the city (Ursynów, served by Kabaty station), while M2 starts from Wola district on the left bank of the Vistula river (Rondo Daszyńskiego station) towards Praga on its right side (Dworzec Wileński station). The metro runs daily between 5 am and midnight (every 3-4 minutes during peak hours, every 7-8 minutes at off-peak times). Additional service is provided on Fridays and Saturdays between 00:15 am and 2:30 am (every 15 minutes).
The city's rail transport system also includes the SKM (Szybka Kolej Miejska) urban rapid rail lines. These lines are marked with the letter "S" and a number. The route of SKM runs across two zone tickets.
Buses
Over 1,500 buses operate in and around the city, and most run from between 05:00 and 23:00. Standard bus lines are numbered from 100 to 399. The range 300-399 includes seasonal lines which are activated at specific times of days of week. Fast bus lines are numbered from 400-599 and have fewer stops. Lines numbered 400-499 run only at select times of the day or week. Lines marked with the letter ‘E’ along with a number (e.g. E-4) are express lines which link remote districts to the center of the city. Night lines buses are marked with the letter ‘N’ followed by a number (e.g. N11).
