Durban

Set along the Indian Ocean, Durban is the largest city in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal, as well as the third largest city and busiest port in South Africa. Durban's location also makes it a very popular tourism destination, especially along its beaches and the Golden Mile, a beachfront of restaurants, shops, and event venues.
Durban's King Shaka International Airport, which is approximately 20 miles north of the city center, opened in 2010 for the World Cup. The airport serves as one branch of the area's Golden Triangle of transportation between Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Chief among convention venues in Durban, the very popular Durban International Convention Center regularly wins awards and welcomes conventions and events from all over the world. It's also home to the largest flat-floor, column-free event space in Africa. Situated along Durban's Golden Mile, the Olive Convention Center features state-of-the art meeting spaces within easy reach of the beach.
