Situated within a 10-minute walk of the Flims-Waldhaus parking area, Lake Cauma is surrounded by woodland on three sides and features a public beach and restaurant open during the summer months. Falera is home to Parc La Mutta, a megalithic place of worship. Parc La Mutta features 34 standing stones erected in the Middle Bronze Age, which were used in worship and as a way to calculate the calendar. Last but not least, visitors can observe the beauty above Flims Laax Falera at Mirasteilas Observatory, which houses the largest telescope in Switzerland open to the public.
