Chiang Mai

Situated in a picturesque valley along the Ping River, Chiang Mai is a northern Thailand city known for its culture, mountainous landscape, and ancient Buddhist temples. Chiang Mai is made up of diverse neighborhoods with distinct personalities, including its charming Old City and bustling Night Bazaar. Meeting travelers can fly into Chiang Mai International Airport, which sits about 10 minutes outside Old City. As Thailand's second-largest airport, Chiang Mai International links northern Thailand with China, Laos, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore, as well as Bangkok, Samui, and Phuket.

The most expansive meeting venue in Chiang Mai and one of the largest convention centers in Southeast Asia, the Chiang Mai International Convention and Exhibition Centre spans 60,000 square meters of event space among its two main buildings. The exhibition halls, convention halls, and meeting rooms are complemented by extensive multiuse outdoor space. Its location is convenient as well, as the center is a 10-minute drive from the city and 15-minute drive from the airport.

Group activities in Chiang Mai include day and night city tours, outdoor recreation from rock climbing to mountain biking, unique museums, and verdant gardens and parks. The city's dining scene includes everything from fine-dining restaurants to small eateries specializing in regional cuisine.
