Nakhon Pathom

Conveniently located less than an hour west of Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom is a fascinating, culture-rich city situated in verdant central Thailand. It is perhaps best known for Phra Pathom Chedi, the first religious landmark marking the introduction of Buddhism to Thailand, as well as its relaxed atmosphere within easy reach of the hustle and bustle of Bangkok.
Visitors can fly into Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport, which sits about 90 minutes outside of Nakhon Pathom, or Don Mueang International Airport, which is about an hour away. Visitors can hop aboard public Baw Khaw Saw (BKS) buses and the State Railway of Thailand trains while in Nakhon Pathom city and be easily connected to Bangkok.
Business travelers often head to the city's Sampran Riverside eco-cultural destination, which is a fantastic location for meetings and group events. The site sits on 70 acres along the Tachine River and features antique Thai house accommodations, an on-site spa, a Thai Village, dining options, eco-activities, team-building programs, and 16,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.
