A beloved beach destination perched on Thailand's eastern Gulf of Thailand coast, Pattaya is a lush area perfect for group events and adventures, that still puts delegates within two hours of Bangkok. Most meeting delegates fly into the area via Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. Set about 90 minutes from Pattaya, the Suvarnabhumi Airport serves as a major international transport hub for Thailand and is well-known for its unique, oft-photographed steel and glass design. Alternatively, the U-Tapao-Rayong-Pattaya International Airport, located about 45 minutes south of Pattaya, offers both domestic and international flights as a smaller joint civil-military public airport.
Pattaya is home to the sprawling Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH). One of the largest convention and meeting venues outside of Bangkok, PEACH spans more than 250,000 square feet and can accommodate more than 10,000 delegates. The flexible, multi-purpose venue is beautifully perched in a natural setting along cliff slopes between Pattaya and Jomtien Beach, boasting views of the Gulf of Thailand and proximity to luxury hotels, beaches, fine dining, shopping, and golf.
Popular Pattaya-area group gathering spaces include the breathtaking Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and its lush landscape, as well as the stunning Sanctuary of Truth, covered inside and out with intricate teak sculptures focused on art, culture, and Eastern philosophy. The Sriracha Tiger Zoo welcomes visitors to hold and feed tiger cubs, while the Pattaya Elephant Village features elephant trekking tours through the sanctuary and rescue and rehabilitation center. Groups can marvel at the Wat Phra Yai Temple's nearly-60-foot-tall Buddha, or shop for authentic Thai goods and fare at the Pattaya Floating Market.
